For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place...All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Psalm 139: 13-16
Our sweet baby John was born Thursday morning, January 24, 1991 and he weighed 9 lbs. 8 oz.!
He was always a good sleeper, especially in the arms of his big sister. Jennifer loved to hold John while I was cooking supper.
Having another baby to love was awesome!
John was playful and content.
John and Daddy reading that old 'tooth' book. Peter probably wore it out!
John was a beautiful child.
John and Peter making their Duplo creations. (And don't they look cute in their matching PJ's)
We gave him a bath, dried him off and put his PJ's on. Then, in the blink of an eye he put his legs over the tub and got in again! We laughed and laughed!!
Swinging in our Delaware backyard.
Swinging on the wooden horse in Victoria. John loves being outdoors!
Just hanging out with Dad before bedtime. They were talking about something in the rocking chair.
How cute you all were! Were we getting ready to have Friday night fight night or were you getting ready to "fix" Daddy's hair ?
Our first YMCA of the Rockies cabin when John was three. The boots, the "tight" jeans...classic little John!
Our first of many fun trips to Mustang Island. John played so hard he fell asleep on the beach towel. We all remember that!
The wannabe baseball player. John was wearing Peter's Suwanee Pipe hat, his glove and his cleats! Those were the days when we played fun games of softball in the driveway.
A Pinewood Derby blue ribbon with a little help from Dad!
John and I together in PA. I think Mrs. Woolson was there for a visit and she took this picture.
Jumping on the trampoline was just natural!
Sam said.."those were dog gone good days".
Sam was helping, of course.
Always having a fun time when Stephanie's around!
And twenty years later John is a sophomore at Texas Tech University!

You can leave comments now!! I figured out the problem on my own!!
You are so smart Mom!! I loved looking at all of the pictures of John, he sure was the cutest kid!! These pictures brought back some great memories. Happy Birthday sweet brother who is ace-ing his way through the engineering program! Hope you didn't study the whole day on your birthday!
Oh and I almost gagged and vomited when I saw that horrid picture with me with the permed hair AND bangs. How dreadful! haha! And Dad, remember when you wouldn't let me swim at the beach because you were afraid it would make my permed hair go limp. haha! And the one of John sitting fully clothed in the bathtub made me laugh out loud. :)
I agree. The picture of John sitting in the bathtub with his clothes on is hilarious.
Baby John is the cutest! So chunky and sweet and sleepy. It was crazy to see the progression in pictures and how grown up he looks now. I LOVE this post momma!
Thank you so much for forwarding your family pictures to us! We loved everyone of them!
