McPherson Memoirs: Justin...Justin!!!

It was the Summer of 2000 when Justin came to Victoria to work as a summer youth intern. He was at our house a lot that summer...eating meals with us and spending time with Jennifer. He was sweet from the start!

The youth went to camp at Glorietta, NM. Here's Jennifer, Justin, Barbara, Peter and Garrett on an afternoon hike in the mountains. The summer romance began to blossom when they returned from that trip!

When the Summer of 2000 was over Justin went back to ETBU and Jennifer finished her senior year. Justin drove back to Victoria a lot that year to see her. Here he came to see us(Jennifer really) and got to help us plant new grass in our backyard so we could put our house up for sale and move to Pennsylvania. He's never been afraid of hard work!

They were married, lived in Waco for two years and then moved to Quitman to be youth pastor there. Here Justin is so happy because he found a good deal on a fishing boat. That boy loves to fish!! Jennifer is pregnant with Josiah in this picture.

Justin becomes a daddy to Josiah and suddenly baby boys are more important than boats. From the very start Justin was "a natural" at being a great daddy!

Oh, and he's a great golfer too!

Although Justin loves catching fish his current calling is being a pastor/teacher to those at Hills of Grace. "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."
