Colorado - Summer 2011

Three beautiful llama's owned by the park service for hauling goods up the mountain.
Colorado is always fun!  However, we missed Peter's family being with us this year!!  Some people fished, some hiked, some enjoyed the craft barn, some read, some Zip Lined, some rode ponies, some hiked, some went to the park, some played in the cabin, some liked to paint and get painted on.  We all liked to eat ice cream in the evening!

Stephanie makes zip lining look so easy!

Chasm Lake Y hike

Josiah had to get the same four tatoos every day...
a plane, a helicopter, a horse and a dog!

Even Paul wanted to get some acrylic animal tatoos!

Regina at Spruce Lake

We drove down Devil's Gulch road to a very tiny town called Glen Haven to buy delicious cinnamon rolls.  Glen Haven only had three stores, one quaint hotel and a Fire Station! We used the camera on self-timer setting on the back of a pick-up to get this picture!

A beautiful pregnant daughter and a beautiful view.

Paul walked around the cabin playing with the camera tripod.

Stephanie at Glacier Creek

Stephanie and I hiked to Eagle Cliff, went through the cave and to the Lion King perch over Moraine Park.

I was kinda scared!

A lovely day and view from Eagle Cliff!!

While checking out the internet on the front porch, someone "fixed" John's long hair!
Thankfully, he recently had a haircut!

The gorgeous view from our cabin of Mt. Chapin, Mt. Chiquita and Mt. Ypsilon.

Hillary and John prepared to ride the Zip LIne.

Climbing the pole was the hard part!

Rocky Mountain Cut Throat Trout

Hillary learned how to fly fish too!

Mark catching fish at Dream Lake.

Fishing is fun!

Justin hiked nearly 5 miles uphill to Spruce Lake to catch 62 fish!

Evenings on the front porch of Bald Eagle were so  relaxing!

Paul is the best eater!

Good times!
