Peter is 27!

Our sweet baby Peter had (has) the sweetest smile.  In about 15 minutes he went from seven months to 27 !!  Look closely and you'll see the word, "Pittsburgh" on his pajamas.
Our beautiful baby boy was born at 8:28 a.m. He weighed 8 lbs. 6.5 oz. and was 20 1/4 inches long.  In the early hours the morning he was born, Daddy and I played Backgammon between my contractions.  Funny, how Peter is now married to Nichole who loves board games!
This is what our little family looked like in 1985.
Peter is about six weeks old.
Happy by day and not much of a sleeper by night!
Good times with his Daddy.
Playing in the leaves (and tasting them) were a favorite pastime.
Enjoying the outdoors around our house.
He's already thinking about a hard question about the universe to ask Mom about.
Who are they?  Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus...of course!

Gabriel makes that same face!
He can cook!!  Making mud pies with his sisters is great fun.
A smile of pure childhood delight.
Peter's fourth birthday in Delaware...
...and getting his first bike.
Jennifer took this picture of us in front our house.
Sometimes it felt like we had twins!
We loved walking to Carousel Farm from our house to see the animals!
Peter fell asleep with "Doggie" after a day of sightseeing in New York City.
God heard Peter's prayer and gave him a little brother.
Ski school
This was highly unusual to see Peter hugging Ruthie.  A normal scenario was Peter with a stick in his hand, directing Ruthie to jump or run.
Suwanee Pipe baseball picture.  Peter, you were great!  But a sticky note attached to this picture from Jennifer to Pete said, "Peter, tell them what really happened at the games!" :)
Peter was always reading!  We would go to the Victoria Library and come home with a stack of 10 books.  Then, Peter would disappear to his top bunk for several hours.
A true inventor.  "If I just run fast enough I think I can get some lift!"  Eventually, Peter did make his own flying machine (a hovercraft) with his friend Danny in Kennett Square.
The older kids played "Baby" too!
Playing in the rain was great fun!
I found a sticky note (from Jennifer to Peter) on this picture too... "Captain Hook for hire".  Peter, you were a great sport at John's 7th birthday party!!
Peter's first of two bands where eventually he learned to "jump" and play the electric guitar at the same time.  What was the band's name?
Peter spent many birthdays in Breckinridge, Colorado.
Peter is making a fire at Lake Powell. He says this was the best vacation ever...well...until his honeymoon!  Our family did have some unforgettable adventures there!!
Peter ran cross-country in Victoria (was captain) and in Kennett Square.  He's in the middle .  Do you see that great stride!
Stephanie and Peter exhausted after a cross-country meet.
A hard working young man, Peter is dressed for work as a waiter at Hartefeld.
Another note was attached to this picture too which said, "Mr. Rogers".
I'm sure there was some reason you were wearing Dad's sweater.
Peter fearlessly jumping into the blue waters of the Wadi!
Peter and Nichole when they were newly married.
Peter sleeping again...but this time he's a daddy.  We're so thrilled David and Gabriel were born.
Ten years ago Peter was 17 and now he's 27!!
Happy Birthday Peter!
We love you,
Mom and Dad

Where were all of these picture that I had written sticky notes on? I don't ever remember doing that! haha!

I love the mud pie making pictures and the picture of you and Peter in the front yard in Delaware. I love how he is holding your hand, that is so sweet. All of the pictures are so great, Peter was such a cute little boy!
