Estes Park 2013

And where are Paul's hands?  In his pants, of course!!

Nature Walk
Patrick was showing Josiah and MacKenzie how to shoot a sling shot and they loved it!

Gabriel and David know how to play!

The pony rides are always exciting!  Gabriel stayed on, David had to suck his fingers, Paul bailed when the pony sneezed, but then later got back on.

Intense thinkers!

Happy 80th Birthday!

Brother and Sister time

The special girls in our family!

Paul loves to play and it's even better with cousins!

CHEEESSEE

John, David and Gabriel were having a discussion about all the states.

A short hike to Dorsey Lake can sometimes be long!
Josiah to Paul: "It will be fun, look at my tatoos!"

The huge beaver lodge at Sprague Lake

A momma moose and her calf.  Never get too close to the wild animals because they can charge from a long distance.  Moose can run very fast, even in the water.

The Continental Divide from Sprague Lake

LOOK for the black bear on the left

Beautiful Lion Lake #1 seven miles from the trailhead with an elevation gain of 2300 feet.  It was a beautiful, warm day and I could have stayed there all day exploring and sitting by the streams that flowed into the lake with red and yellow wildflowers all around!

We took a family hike to Calypso Cascade and Ouzel Falls our first year at Estes Park.  Do you remember?
