Dwelling Places

Perry, Oklahoma
Regina's first home until she moved to OSU.
1959-1977

Morgan City, Louisiana
1961-1972
Mark's home on Elm Street until his family moved to Oklahoma City.

Their first old "camp" house near the Intercoastal Canal was torn down.

Orange, Texas
1982-1986

Jennifer, Peter and Stephanie's first home.  Where we played in the sandbox, spent a lot of time swinging in the backyard, chased cats out of the yard, went to church a lot, Mark worked hard at his job with DuPont.

Wilmington, Delaware
1986-1992
Where after two years our sweet John was born.  Where we played in the snow, enjoyed Carousel Farms, the local park and  good neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Beal and the Percys.

Victoria, Texas
1992-2001
Our home for nine years where we made friends, raised ducks, raised puppies, raised children and got to know our future son-in-law, Justin.

Avondale, Pennsylvania
2001-2004
A beautiful, fun and interesting place to live.  We loved having the Robnetts nearby, loved Kennett Square, graduated Peter and Stephanie from KHS and got to know Peter's future wife, Nichole.

Wichita, Kansas
2004-2007
While John was in middle school and high school it was nice to live near our parents in Oklahoma and have Stephanie at OBU only three hours away.  We had good neighbors and got to know a lot of cute children in the neighborhood.
Beaumont, Texas
Where we have crawfish boils, swim, family time, welcomed six grandchildren, eat, sleep, work, play and are protected from storms and other dangers.  However, all these earthly abodes are t.e.m.p.o.r.a.r.y.  As our body of flesh needs a home, the Bible says our spirit needs a p.e.r.m.a.n.e.n.t home with the LORD.

"The eternal God is a dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms."
~Moses

"If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching.  My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him."
~Jesus

The one thing I ask of the Lord--
the thing I seek most--
is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
delighting in the LORD's perfections
and meditating in his Temple.
For he will conceal me there when troubles come;
he will hide me in his sanctuary.
He will place me out of reach on a high rock.
~David
