Here She Comes...

Jennifer Ann

Daddy and I spent his fifth year of college at OSU.
He studied and I was a substitute teacher.
We were poor students living in married student housing.
Sometimes we went to Braums to get an ice cream cone.
We ate a lot of hamburger patties with macaroni and cheese.
We saved our money so we could take a vacation in May 1982.
We drove to Montana, stayed in a log cabin and cooked on a wood burning stove.
We saw the geysers in Yellowstone National Park.
We hiked three days in the Grand Canyon.
We spent our First Wedding Anniversary on the South Rim of the canyon.
We were gone two weeks and spent only $700.

Camping beside the Colorado River.

We returned to Stillwater.
The movers arrived in a small truck to pack our belongings.
We moved to Texas and Daddy began his career with DuPont.
I didn't feel very well on the trip down to our new home...

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
Ecclesiates 11:5
Nine Months later...Here She Comes!
February 10, 1983

(The day before I made a chocolate pie and we ate half of it.)

Jennifer was 7 lbs. 2 oz.
She was beautiful with lots of dark hair.
We just couldn't believe we had a baby!
Daddy, Jennifer and Dr. Jones
(Dr. Jones delivered Peter too)
She was born at 9:34 p.m. after a long day of labor.
The hungry new father went home later and ate the remaining chocolate pie!

Jennifer was beautiful in every way!

She enjoyed being outside.

Grandma and Grandpa McPherson visiting their new granddaughter!

Grandma Randall with Jennifer at 8 months.

Our family in 1983

At age three Jennifer gets a little sister.

Jennifer and Lindsey Hall having lunch.

She has the cutest smile and bubble butt!

Jennifer in her Girl Scout Uniform.
Would you like some thin mints or lemon creams?

The firstborn of four.

Friday night fight night!!
Jennifer is a girl of action!!

Jennifer loved riding her bike!

Falling in love with Justin.

The first special man in her life!

Graduating from Mary-Hardin Baylor University
in May 2005.

The sweet blessing of being a wife to Justin and mother to Josiah and Paul.

Happy 28th Birthday Jennifer!
Love, Mom and Dad

But the LORD has become my fortress,
and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.

the picture of jennifer by the tree looks like Paul...but maybe its just because they both were chunky babies :)

Jennifer looks so cute and happy about to jump into the baby pool!

I thought the same thing as Stephanie, that Paul favors me in the tree picture. And the one with me looking at Grandma Randall, he makes that SAME face!! This was such a sweet post, I love seeing all of the pictures. And I was cracking up at the first part, describing where I was conceived. hahahahaha!!

Thank YOU and Dad for being such amazing parents. I was blessed to be born in this family. LOVE you Mommy. :)

In the photo of you with Daddy and Dr. Jones, when you were just born, reminds me of Josiah's face the first time we saw him.

What is a bubble butt?

And I thought the same thing as Stephanie... That's where Paul gets it from.
